Professional Background

Dr. Butler completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. She had additional training in obstetrical care at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. She returned to Kansas City to join the family medicine faculty. She finds joy in teaching and loves her positions as Maternity Care Director for family medicine and co-director for the medical student block Reproduction, Development, and Sexuality.
